How do Newsguard agents work?
Several times a day, Newsguard visits a selection of relevant news websites. The articles in those news websites are scanned for information that Newsguard agents need.
If an article matching your agent shows up in any of the websites in the selected area, Newsguard sends you a notification with article titles and links to the actual articles by
email at the interval selected.
By simply clicking within the email, the article
will load in your favorite browser.

What do I use the agent options for
On the my agents or the add agents page you can specify what search-terms or phrases you want Newsguard to look for. You have several options to detail your search.

Won't Newsguard spam my mailbox?
No. You can specify exactly how often you want Newsguard to alert you. Only when this period has elapsed you will receive new notifications. Furthermore, you will only be notified when Newsguard has found articles for you.
Can I remove my agents?
Removing agents is even more easy than making them! Just visit Newsguard.com when you want to remove agents. The page will show your active agents.
Just click on
and the agent is removed. Add, remove and change agents as often as you like!
